Bill Clinton’s Disgusting Comments On Hillary’s 2016 Comments

Former President Bill Clinton gave disgusting remarks on his wife’s 2016 presidential campaign.

According to The Intercept’s Washington, DC, bureau chief Ryan Grim’s new book, Hillary Clinton’s campaign resorted to playing Identity politics to defeat Democrat opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the 2016 presidential election primaries.

Grim revealed in his book, titled “The Squad: AOC and the Hope of a Political Revolution,” that Sanders’ grassroots coalition threatened to derail Hilarry’s campaign. The Vermont lawmaker garnered support from moderate voters who paid marginal attention to the election and thought Sanders spoke like a normal person. Hilary, on the other hand, began ascending into identity politics.

“Hillary worked directly with Washington-based nonprofit advocacy groups… to ghost-write op-eds explaining how the Sanders position on this or that issue was actually sexist or racist,” Grims wrote in his book.

While Hilarry’s campaign focused on identity politics, Bill Clinton repeatedly warned about the need to appeal to white working-class voters but his warnings were ignored. Senior members of Hillary’s campaign dismissed the campaign as a personal vendetta to win back the voters who elected him.

The campaign viewed Bill Clinton as a talented but aging politician who simply refused to accept the new Democratic map. Clinton made the disgusting remark after all of his warnings fell on deaf ears and were ignored or dismissed.

“Former president Bill Clinton, surveying the landscape and the ham-handed efforts at identity politics, was bereft, lamenting to a longtime friend in the fall of 2016 that Hillary’s campaign ‘could not sell p***y on a troop train,’” Grim wrote in an excerpt from the book published on the Intercept on December 5.

Hillary’s campaign, however, continued to push her identity politics, with the former first lady stating that supporters of her GOP rival, then-candidate Trump, could be tossed into “the basket of deplorables.”

“The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up,” Hillary said during the 2016 campaign.

Many experts believe that the “basket of deplorables” comment was a contributing factor to her 2016 loss.
