Comer: Investigations Could Show Bidens Earned Over $50 Million

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) suggested on Saturday that President Joe Biden and his family may have earned more than $50 million from influence peddling.

Comer, in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, revealed that subpoenas for Jim Biden’s Bank records could show that the Biden family has earned more than the $20 million that was initially reported.

“We haven’t gotten to Jim Biden yet,” Comer said. “The subpoena for Jim Biden’s personal bank records will be the first crack at Jim Biden. Remember, Jim Biden didn’t leave a laptop lying around. So, it’s not been as easy to track his transactions. But he was probably more aggressive at shaking people down than Hunter Biden was. And we know how aggressive Hunter Biden was because he left the laptop lying around.”

Comer added that he believes the Biden family’s influence peddling was a very organized crime ring because of how they laundered money through LLCs and shell companies and how the money was disbursed through the various Biden members.

Comer’s comments come after Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) predicted in July that the Bidens could have earned north of $50 million from peddling the president’s influence.

“Based on the evidence I’ve seen so far, I think the number is going to be north of $50 million that we’re talking about here,” Mace told Fox News. “This will go down as one of the most politically corrupt presidents and families in U.S. history. And we’ve got to show and prove it to the American people. We’ve got to show them everything that we have.”

Mace also blasted the Department of Justice, FBI and IRS for not doing anything about the Bidens.

“It’s mind-boggling that the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS has sat on their hands and done absolutely nothing when they’ve seen that kind of money flowing through dozens and dozens of shell companies,” Mace added. “The bribes, the payoffs, the money laundering, the racketeering, everything that’s been going on, and no one in that family has been held accountable. And it’s wrong.”
