GOP Senator Latest To Back Impeachment Inquiry, Support Grows Among Republicans
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined a list of growing senators who have announced support for the recent launch of President Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry.
The Alabama senator announced on Wednesday that he supports House Republicans on the impeachment inquiry. Tuberville said he made his decision after a brief meeting with House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY). Jordan and Comer’s committees’ investigations uncovered damning evidence against the president and his family.

Tuberville revealed that he and other senators sat and listened as Jordan and Comer laid their case against the president and his son, Hunter Biden.
“You know, I am absolutely shocked by the scale of the allegations and the strength of the evidence,” Tuberville said. “We ought to be ashamed. Our media ought to be ashamed. Our institutions should be ashamed of what’s going on for the last four years without being investigated. I commend Speaker McCarthy for him moving forward with an impeachment inquiry. You know, I don’t like impeachments, you know, it holds back our country, but in this case, it needs to happen. The American people deserve the truth.”
Tuberville joins a growing list of GOP lawmakers who support the impeachment inquiry. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) implied that she would vote to convict Biden if the House sends an impeachment to the Senate.
An impeachment inquiry will allow the American people to finally see the proof of Biden’s corruption.
If the House sends an impeachment to the Senate, I will vote for the accountability Tennesseans want to see.

“If the House sends an impeachment to the Senate, I will vote for the accountability Tennesseans want to see,” Blackburn said, adding that the American people need to see the proof of Biden family corruption.
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) showed support for the impeachment inquiry, noting that the White House’ silence and protection of Hunter Biden suggests an inquiry is “not inappropriate.”
Romney says he’s fine with opening an impeachment inquiry into Biden:
“The fact that the White House has been singularly silent and coddled Hunter Biden suggests an inquiry is not inappropriate.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) pointed at Biden’s repeated lies over his dealings with Hunter, adding that the president allowed his son to sell access to America’s enemies, including China.
.@JoeBiden lied repeatedly about his business dealings with Hunter, who has said “Pop” demanded “half” his shady, ill-gotten foreign income.
He enabled Hunter to sell access to our enemies, including China.
I commend @HouseGOP for digging into the potential for corruption.
