New Year, Same Old Biden- President Begins Year With Gaffe

President Joe Biden began the New Year as confused as he was last year, after making his first recorded gaffe the year.

The president and First Lady Jill Biden appeared for a question and answer session on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” Sunday. During the show, Biden answered questions about the economy and the next election.

However, all hell broke loose when the president was asked to describe his favorite memory from 2023. The president gave a completely different answer from what host Ryan Seacrest asked him.

“My dad used to have an expression. He’d say, ‘Joey, a job is about a lot more than a paycheck. It’s about your dignity. It’s about respect.’ We brought a lot of jobs back to the United States. People are in a position to be able to make a living now. And they’ve created a lot of jobs, over 14 million. I just feel good that the American people got up. They’ve been through a rough time with the pandemic, but now we’re coming back, they’re back,” Biden said.

The president is widely known for his love of ice cream and has made headlines over the issue in the recent past. However, the president seemed to forget he loves ice cream when asked to name some of the holiday foods he had been enjoying over the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

“I’ve been eating everything that’s put in front of me!” Biden replied. “I’ve eaten pasta, which I love. Eaten a lot of chicken, chicken parmesan, I’ve been eating all Italian foods basically —” Biden said before the first lady interrupted him and added Ice cream to the list.

“And ice cream,” Jill Biden reminded him, interrupting.

“And ice cream,” Joe Biden repeated.“Chocolate chip ice cream.”
