Rep. Comer: Hunter Text Is ‘Damning Evidence’ Implicating President Biden

The House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) believes a Hunter Biden text message complaining about giving his father half of his earnings implicates President Joe Biden in his family’s alleged corrupt practices.

Hunter sent the message to his daughter Naomi in 2019, complaining about having to give Joe Biden half of his earnings.

“I love all of you. But I dont recieve any respect and that’s fine I guess -works for you apparently. I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family Fro (sic) 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop (President Biden) I won’t make you give me half your salary,” Hunter wrote.

Comer, whose committee has been investigating the Bidens’ corrupt financial practices, told Newsmax TV’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight” that Hunter’s message is “damning evidence” against the president.

“If the President’s done nothing wrong, then they should allow us to see their personal bank records,” Comer said. “ You’ve seen the emails that showed that Hunter Biden was complaining to his daughter that he had to give half of his income to his father. That’s pretty damning evidence when his income 100% came from our adversaries around the world for influence peddling, for violating the Foreign Agent Registration Act, and his dad —now we know— was on the phone call with all 20 of these people that sent the Biden family these millions of dollars. So Joe Biden has been implicated.”

Comer maintained that the Bidens should be transparent and provide their financial records to Congress if they have nothing to hide. The lawmaker also urged the Biden administration to stop intimidating witnesses and obstructing Congressional investigations.

Comer’s comments came after his committee released a memo showing that the Biden business received more than $20 million from entities and foreign agents in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
