Rep. Comer Laments DOJ, Biden Admin Obstruction

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) lamented the level of obstruction from federal agencies and the Biden legal team in his committee’s Biden family investigation.

Comer told Fox News Channel host Maria Bartiromo that the level of obstruction into his committee investigation is unprecedented. Comer, whose committee has handed out several subpoenas to banks connected to the Biden family, revealed that banks are being put under “considerable pressure” not to cooperate with his committee’s investigation.

“I have been saying for months, Maria, that we are facing obstruction like has never been demonstrated in the history of congressional investigations,” Comer said. “Not only are we being obstructed by the Biden legal team. We’re being obstructed by the Department of Justice. We’re being obstructed by the FBI, by the Secret Service, by the IRS, by the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee. And the next question is, will we be obstructed by the new special counsel, David Weiss, investigating this? We have produced — with every subpoena we have issued, we have produced more new damaging evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s influence-peddling schemes. And we believe the next bank records that we’re going to subpoena will tell a whole lot bigger story about how involved Joe Biden was in this Biden influence peddling scheme or Biden corruption.”

Commer revealed that his committee plans to hand out subpoenas to several banks whose records will show how President Joe Biden benefited from his family’s corrupt foreign business deals. Commer, however, noted that the Bidens and their lawyer are doing everything to prevent his committee from obtaining those records.
“The Biden attorneys know exactly where we are headed with this investigation,” Commer said. “They have lawyered up… They are building Fort Knox around these bank accounts that we are going to subpoena next.”
Comer’s committee has uncovered evidence linking Joe Biden to his family’s corrupt business practices.
Devon Archer, one of Hunter Biden’s closest business associates, provided Comer’s committee with the most damning evidence of the president’s involvement in his family’s corruption. According to Archer’s testimony, the then-Vice President attended several meetings with Hunter and his foreign business associates.
