Source Accuses Bidens Of Coercing Burisma Officials For Bribe

Following revelations that a Burisma executive kept tapes of conversations with then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, a person familiar with the investigation told Breitbart News that the Biden family attempted to coerce the Ukrainian energy company for bribes.

The revelation is linked to an FBI document that outlines potential bribes to the Biden family, as reported by an informant. Members of the House Intelligence Committee recently viewed the document, which is being held by the FBI.

The debate over the release of the document nearly led to contempt of Congress charges against FBI Director Christopher Wray.

The document is tied to Hunter Biden’s time on the board of Burisma for about $1 million in annual compensation. The younger Biden, who did not have experience in energy policy, served in the role during his father’s tenure as vice president.

According to Rep. James Comer (R-KY), a leading member of the committee said that the document outlined potential $5 million bribes for each President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.

Mykola Zlochevsky, who allegedly paid the Bidens $10 million in bribes, is at the center of the controversy.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said that an unredacted version of the document stated that a Burisma executive kept audio recordings of conversations with each Biden. The senator referred to the recordings as a sort of “insurance policy.”

According to the FBI informant, Zlochevsky said that he was concerned that the victory of former President Donald Trump in 2016 could cause an investigation into payments to the Biden family.

The Burisma leader said that the Biden family “coerced” him into the bribes.

Zlochevsky added that he did not directly pay the elder Biden, but instead, the money was moved through a number of other accounts.

Comer said that the House Republicans would continue their investigation into the Biden family’s finances. The Kentucky Republican separately announced several other major payments to the Biden family linked to foreign companies.

This includes a $1 million payment through Hunter Biden from a Romanian businessman under investigation for corruption and alleged payments from companies linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
