Trump Promises Special Prosecutor To Investigate Bidens

Former President Donald Trump announced this week that if he were elected to another term in 2024, he would appoint a special prosecutor to investigate alleged bribes related to the family of President Joe Biden.

The former president wrote a number of campaign promises on Truth Social, including that he would “APPOINT A REAL SPECIAL ‘PROSECUTOR’ TO GO AFTER THE MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE USA, JOE BIDEN, THE ENTIRE BIDEN CRIME FAMILY, & ALL OTHERS INVOLVED WITH THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR ELECTIONS, BORDERS & COUNTRY ITSELF!”

The former president’s post came after he was informed of federal felony charges related to the alleged handling of classified materials.

The former president’s statement comes as Biden faces his own questions related to the handling of classified documents. A number of sensitive files were found at the president’s Delaware home.

Biden is currently being investigated by special counsel Robert Hur.

In addition, the president’s son Hunter Biden has been implicated in a number of payments of foreign origin. The House Oversight Committee, led by Rep. James Comer (R-KY), has been probing allegations that the Biden family received millions from different business deals.

Perhaps the largest of the accusations revolves around the testimony of an FBI whistleblower. A 2020 document states credible information that a Ukrainian businessman was involved in a potential $10 million bribe to both Bidens.

On Sunday, Comer said that the FBI form was just the beginning.

“There are a lot more of these than the federal government wants to admit,” he told Fox News. “And the question is why hasn’t the federal government done anything about it?”

The Kentucky Republican added that there were at least two more FBI forms that he was investigating.

Members of the House Oversight Committee reviewed the FBI document, which the president described as a “bunch of malarkey” during a press conference last week.

Comer cited a number of similar alleged payments, stating that there were “at least” 20 shell companies tied to the Biden family “laundering money from foreign nationals.”

Comer cited a $1 million payment to the Biden family from a Romanian businessman then under investigation for corruption.
