Tucker Carlson Gives the Reason That Will Make Him Oppose Trump

Former Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson on Monday revealed the one reason that would oppose President Donald Trump’s re-election.

Carlson made the revelation during a panel with conservative host Tim Pool, former Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The group was speaking at the recently concluded AmericaFest.

Carlson insisted that he will oppose the former president if he picks former South Carolina GOP Gov. Nikki Haley as his running mate. The former Fox News host said he would oppose and advocate strongly against the ticket.

“I would not only not vote for that ticket, I would advocate against it as strongly as I could,” Carlson said when asked by Pool if he would still vote for Trump if the former president chose Haley as his second-in-command. “That’s just poison,” Carlson continued. “I mean, here’s someone who’s actively opposed to the interests of the country I grew up in, who endorsed the BLM riots, and who is not left, but is neoliberal in the darkest, most — speaking of nihilist — nihilistic way, and has no real popular support, is a creature of the oligarchs. “So yeah, that would be — that would be a reason to oppose the ticket.”

Nikki Halley was Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations. She is also currently running against the former president for the Republican presidential ticket for 2024. Most polls show her polling second to Trump, who is the overwhelming favorite to secure the ticket

Carlson previously said he would agree to be Trump’s running mate only if God yelled at him very loudly.

Reports also suggest that former First Lady Melania Trump has been secretly advocating for the former president to pick Carlson as his running mate. The former first lady believes that Carlson would make a powerful onstage extension of Trump.

Trump has also not ruled out a Trump-Carlson ticket with the former president saying he likes Carlson very much.

“I like Tucker a lot. … He’s got great common sense,” Trump said when asked if he would pick the former Fox News host as his running mate.
